About KV Karanja

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Naval Station, Karanja is one of the premier institutions located in the suburbs (NAD, Uran Taluka) of the metropolitan city Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Initially it was an English medium school, run by Naval Armament Depot (NAD) under the Chairmanship of Shri N A Malwade. The school's inception as Kendriya Vidyalaya took place on the 1st of July 1970. The first Principal was Sri.M.L.Arora and the first Chairman Vice Admiral M P Avati.
